CFMOTO 450MT Completes Six-Day Upper Mustang Adventure Ride

Rishi Trade Center, the official distributor of CFMOTO motorcycles in Nepal, recently completed a six-day adventure ride to Upper Mustang, showcasing the CFMOTO 450MT and attracting riders from Nepal, India, and China.

The ride kicked off from the CFMOTO showroom in Naxal, Kathmandu, with over 30 participants, including more than 20 riders and a support crew. The group rode through Mustang’s rugged terrain, covering key locations like Pokhara, Muktinath, Lo Manthang, and the Kora la Border near the Tibetan plateau.

This journey tested both rider endurance and the performance of the CFMOTO 450MT. The route also included lesser-known trails and spots such as Titi Lake, offering a deeper exploration of the Mustang region.

Participants came from diverse professional backgrounds—doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, pilots, and students—reflecting the wide appeal of adventure motorcycling. The 450MT handled a range of challenging conditions, from loose gravel and steep climbs to high-altitude trails, proving its versatility and durability.

Organized in collaboration with Everest Biker Nepal, the ride aimed to promote Nepal’s potential as a global destination for adventure tourism and ADV riding.

Priced at Rs 12.49 Lakh, the CFMOTO 450MT is a purpose-built adventure bike with a tubular frame, high-mounted fairing, and stacked LED headlights. It features a single-piece seat, upright ergonomics, and a dual-tone colour scheme.

Power comes from a 450cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine producing 44 bhp and 44 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. It gets fully adjustable KYB suspension (200mm travel), disc brakes with Bosch switchable ABS, and traction control. Other features include a TFT display with smartphone connectivity, 21/18-inch spoke wheels, 17.5L fuel tank, 220mm ground clearance, 820mm seat height, and full LED lighting.
